This trip can be offered in conjunction with a possible Cuba trip in 2002.  Contact Guy to express an interest.

The DR offers opportunities to see most of the island’s 25 single-island endemics. Also possible are an additional 30 Caribbean endemics, roughly half of which are restricted to 2-3 islands.

Cuba and the Dominican Republic are home to roughly half of the Caribbean’s endemic bird species. Our Y2K trip will be offered as a pre-tip extension to the March Cuba trip.

Costs of the trip is $775.   Deposits (of $50 per trip) can be sent to Mike Flieg. Full payment is required by mid-February.
Our itinerary in DR will concentrate on the Sierra da Bahoruco in the south-west of the country. Should you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me by return (I am leaving the country until 1 February on 13 December) but Mark and Mike can help with any other queries you may have as they have both undertaken these trips. If you wish to call me over the next day and a half to discuss anything, my telephone number is: +44 1603 219701.
