Snowy Sheathbill, Patagonian Sierra-finch, Lesser Rhea and Tawny-throated
Dotterel.
San
Antonio Oeste (drive from previous area): many of same species, plus Sandy
Gallito, Hudson's Black-tyrant and Yellow Cardinal (latter two difficult). Five
days for this and the previous area.
Calafate,
Rio Gallegos, Glacier National Park and Strobel Plateau (flight): Hooded Grebe,
Austral Rail, Chocolate-vented Tyrant, Magellanic Plover, Austral Canastero,
Canary-winged Finch, Spectacled Duck, Rufous-tailed Plantcutter, Patagonian
Yellow-finch, Canary-winged Finch and Cinnamon-bellied Ground-tyrant. Patagonian
Tinamou is a very difficult possibility. Six days.
Tierra
del Fuego and Ushuaia (flight): Ruddy-headed Goose, Magellanic Plover,
White-bellied Seedsnipe, Yellow-bridled Finch, Upland Goose, Magellanic
Woodpecker, steamerducks, Patagonian Tyrant, seabirds (petrels, Magellanic
Diving-petrel, possibility of Gentoo Penguin). Six days.
