Well, this went far better than our previous comp, so to speak. Mike had built a sharp looking little zoomy bot, and I had been lazy and done nothing. So, when he came over with his, I cobbled something together in about 20 minutes, hence the name. It came out allot like my first one, but just a tad lighter, and with more speed and less power. Mike had a nice ramming wall type thing on the front, but it had a tendancy to be broken off.

Well, we set them down and go at eachother. Both move, both turn, both push a little, spectacular. I'd say the coolest looking of the bouts to date. Since I had taken no time building mine however, after only 1 or 2 impacts, the pieces started flying. Nothing consequential, just minor protective pieces, but still. Then my steering came loose again (I really need to hack my servo so I can do a rack and pinion steering system instead of this goofy post and a piece of wire to move it!). Then a few more hits, and that was all she wrote. I could still move, but not well enough to fight.

Mike stole the servos to work on for our ant weight, but once we have it planned, we will take them back and start with the comps building again. Untill then, this is all she wrote.
