This page is not quite ready. When I do finish it will be devoted to the other characters that Michael Hurst (aka: Edith Sidebottom) has played on Hercules. I'll have pictures and what not, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Until such time arrives here is a quick run down.

I have been able to spot 13 separate characters on Hercules that have been played by Michael Hurst. There have probably been more and I just didn't spot them. If you know some one I've missed please e-mail me and let me know. Here's the list.

1) Ioluas- perhaps the easiest one to spot. You know he's the little blonde that's always following Hercules around.

2) Ioluas 2- this is the one from the parallel universe that has taken over the old Ioluas's job. He is more mouse than man, but is apparently a brilliant inventor.

3) Old Ioluas- from the Hercules episode called "Surprise" with Callisto.

4) Aenus- like many of his other characters this one was killed off rather quickly. He can be found in the movie Hercules in the Underworld as the first drunken victim of the crack in the ground that led to the Underworld.

5) Old Sales man- another movie character this time from the Young Herules movie, he and his younger self (Dean O'Gorman) get into an argument in the market place.

6) Charon- this character is the river boat master that guides people over the river Styx. He is constantly doing favours for Hercules and Xena, much to his distress.

7) Orestes- is Ioluas' identical cousin. As King his reign is cut short by an assassination.

8) Proteus- as a God that can asume any form Proteus asumes Iolaus's identity and tries to kill Hercules.

9) Jean-Pierre- he is from the French episode of Hercules with the Chartreuse Fox. A very amusing episode.

10) Widow Twanky- if you don't know this character you're on the wrong web page. Michael Hurst is credited as Edith Sidebottom in all of the episodes in which the Widow appears.

11) Paul Robert Coyle- is a writer for the show Hercules. A constant gambler and alcoholic he can be found in the two episodes that parody the real life of the show: Yes, Virginia there is a Hercules, and For Those of you Just Joining Us.

12) Dahak- the evil God bent on destroying the world.

13) Nameless Cripple- this character can only be seen for a few moments in the most recent Widow Twanky episode Greece is Burning.

Of all his characters almost half of them are dead. One thing the writers of this show love, is killing off his characters. They even went so far as to kill his first character, Ioluas, three times.

I shall update this page into pictures as soon as I can.
