Abstract:
Automation is the system of
manufacture, designed to extend the capacity of machines to perform certain
tasks formerly done by humans and to control sequences of operations without
human intervention. The term automation has also been used to describe
non-manufacturing systems in which programmed or automatic devices can operate
independently or nearly independently of human control. In the fields of
communications, aviation, and astronauts, for example, such devices as automatic
telephone switching equipment, automatic pilots, and automated guidance and
control systems are used to perform various operations much faster or better
than could be accomplished by humans.
In the
today’s ever growing population the need of tall, massive and concrete
structures so called sky scrappers have become vital. We can see these tall
giants touching the limits of the skies in almost every part of the world and
the only means of transportation in these sky scrappers are the elevators
commonly known as 'lifts'.
Thus
owing to need of these elevators we have developed an
"Intelligent Elevator"
Whose essential features are,
Direction based acknowledgment
Executive floor destination priority
Self test mode
Emergency mode
Fully automatic mode
