About Us
Limestone County Career Technical School is located in Athens, Alabama. Athens, Alabama is located in North Alabama approximately 90 miles from Birmingham in the center of the Tennessee Valley. Athens-Limestone County is an industrial, manufacturing, and farming community with a population of 66,543. Our enrollment includes students from seven high schools located throughout Limestone County and enrolled in fourteen different career areas. Students have access to quality postsecondary education through Calhoun Community College, Athens State University, the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Alabama A & M University.
Chapter 5909 was chartered in 1970 to provide students with an opportunity for self-improvement through the many events, activities, and learning experiences afforded through membership in this national organization. Today, our local chapter has forty-four members.
