Monograph in Digital Signal Processing

Rather than viewing Signal & Image Processing & Analysis as routine "data analysis", it would do good if the fundamentals of these are fully understood. The origin of these data, the physical principles behind them, the various transformations and how they affect the data, the physical basis for understanding and interpreting the transformations, the importance of feature extraction, the physical basis of certain features, their effectiveness in data classification, are some of the interesting aspects of this trade !

I just started out jotting these ideas into a Monograph, the first four Chapters of which are available for download below !

Chapter I

Chapter II

Chapter III

Chapter IV
