Security Freeware
Eraser
Size: 145K
OS: Win 95/NT
Description: Eraser is a powerful file wiping utility. By default Eraser overwrites files or empty disk
space several times with carefully selected patterns which effectively remove the
magnetic remanence from the hard disk making it virtually impossible to recover the
data. For faster (and less effective) file erasing, Eraser also supports a method defined
in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM a.k.a. DoD
5220.22-M) of the US Department of Defense. There is also an option to overwrite only
with pseudo-random data.

SnadBoy's Revelation
Size: N/A
OS: Win 95
Description: Windows 95 is great at remembering many of your passwords, e.g. the password of
your dial-in ISP. Unfortunately, this is also a problem - since you seldom enter the
passsword it tends to be forgotten. What are you to do when you need to know one of
the saved passwords? The password is staring right at you, but is hiding behind a row
of asterisks. SnadBoy's Revelation allows you to see over that wall
