nApps - Request an App

You can request that a freeware program be written for you. Read the rules before submitting, however, because we will simply ignore all requests that we consider ridiculous. Please, please, please think before you ask for a program. You should receive a confirmation e-mail soon (within 3-5 days) with details, otherwise, your request probably did not meet the reasonable criteria. All finished programs will be posted on the programs page.

1. We speak English. If we cannot understand what you ask for, your request will be deleted. Examples of what we understand: "Can you write a program that rings every hour on the hour." Examples of what we do not understand: "Finding a game of kinda in Fotli shoold open new intrnet connection and autimaticly stop."
2. We will not do anything illegal or help you to do anything illegal.
3. We will not create a program that simply combines the task of two or more programs, unless it would be very useful for the programs to interact under one application.
4. We will not write a custom program that benefits only one company. If it is something that would benefit an entire industry then we will consider the request. (i.e. A medical program that helps to chart patient info is okay, a program written to balance one medical practice's taxes is not okay.)
5. We will not write any professional games for you. Games require dedication of enormous time and effort - something that we are not willing to do gratis.
6. We will not write macros. (i.e. Access, Excel, etc.)
7. We will not write a driver.
8. We will only write software for Windows 95/98/NT.
9. We will write small and simple utilities. See some of what we've done.
10. We will own the copyright and license to all finished products. Please do not ask us to write a software program for you so that you can sell it. (Yes, we have received requests like that.)
