Meteor Garden is a Taiwan drama serial based on Hana Yori Dango. Produced by Chinese Television System (CTS), it airs every Thursday night at 9pm in Taiwan. The debut episode on April 5 2001 was so successful that the producers decided to extend the series to 24 episodes from the original 18. The serial is also available in Singapore on Singapore Cable Vision's Channel 56 (VV Entertainment) every Sunday at 12noon and 8pm from July 8 onwards.
