| Known for its majestic cedars, Tazekka is also home to the largest known caves in North Africa, Gouffre Frioutou. PCVs from all over Morocco have long visited Taza and ventureds into the cave. I took this trip atleast 5 times in my 2 years there. But the most trips record is owned by Mounir Ben Brahim. A longtime friend to PCVs in Taza he has taken Volunteers up and down the 500+ steps leading to the cave's entrance some 70 times! |
