| While my parents visited in April 2000, we dined at one of the kiosks in the Djmaa Fna. I had the beef kabobs and my parents had the chicken tangine. This is where some of the best food in Morocco can be found! |

| My parents pose for this picture oustide the Koutoubia Mosque. The minaret stands tall in the city and is a beautiful site when lite-up at night and its red brick reflects the white lights. This minaret is one of 3 built in the 12th century by the Almohads. The matching minerats are in Rabat (Tour Hassan) and Seville, Spain (capped with a steeple-like structure and part of the cathedral). |
