Women Weathering the Times / "Senhoras do Tempo" is a bilingual exhibit which addresses the issues facing those who live in the semi arid regions of Northeastern Brazil. CAATINGA, a Brazilian NGO specializing in technology and information enabling a successful cohabitation in drought stricken regions, contracted myself and two Brazilian colleagues, Ivana Moura (journalist) and Gyzia Pimentel (photographer), to produce this exhibit of seventy-two 24 x 36 inch panels. It was launched in November of 1999 at the Forum Parallel to the United Nations' 4th World Conference on Desertification held in Recife, Brazil.
Currently (2000/2001) the exhibit is touring through several European countries.
