Naomi's Peach Fruit Cake

1 c butter
1 1/2 c white sugar
3 well-beaten eggs
1-20oz tin peaches
3 c raisins
1 1/2 c cherries
1 c coconut
3 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Blend in crushed & drained peaches, cherries, coconut and raisins. Stir in dry ingredients. Add vanilla and 1/4 c drained peach juice.
Bake 275 degrees for 3 hours.

*long time to bake but worth the wait!
*I drizzle vanilla icing over warm cake BUT just a little.

This is my grandmother Naoimi's recipe that her sister Katie gave her a long time ago. Mom gave it to me.
