1 (6 oz) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 Tbsp white corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafers (crushed)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. nuts (finely chopped)
Melt chocolate chips over hot (not boiling) water. Remove from heat, add syrup
and bourbon. Combine crushed vanilla wafers, powdered sugar and nuts. Add
chocolate mixture and mix well. Let stand about 30 min.
Form into 1 in. balls, roll in granulated or powdered sugar. Store in closed can
for about 3 to 4 weeks, then watch out!
May substitute rum for bourbon.
