Wisconsin Dells

We had so much fun here, we stayed an extra 2 days!
Although we had to move camp for the extra days,
it was a great spot to move to, right next
to the playground. We were originally going to move to
the Dells KOA but after viewing the spot reserved for us, we
decided against it. There was a very steep dropoff right
behind camp that was dangerous; all of the sites were crowded
and unappealing. Then the nice folks at Sherwood Forest
fixed us up with a campsite that same day.

I first went to the Dells when I was about 5 years old.
This was my third time back and this time it was my family
There is so much for a family to do in the Dells,
even one full week of activities did not cover it all.
And Sherwood Forest is the best place to camp!

We had no trouble with loud neighbors, and after hours
you can't get into camp without being a registered camper.
A great time was had by all, even if it was a 10 hour drive!

Recommended attractions we visited in the Dells:

Upper Dells Boat Tour
Tommy Bartlett Thrill Show
The Wonder Spot
Noah's Ark Water Park
Timber Falls Adventure Golf
Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf
Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum (better than the one in Branson)
Canyon Creek Riding Stable
Mid-Continent Railway
Haunted Mansion
Indian Ceremonial
American Club Polish-American Buffet (so good we went there twice!)
Shopping in Downtown Dells

Attractions which left us disappointed (not recommended):

Lower Dells Boat Tour (Would have been more fun
on the Ducks; they both tour the same place.)
Riverside & Great Northern Railway
Black Bart's Stagecoach Buffet (not nearly as fun
as the ad suggests. Stay home and fry Spam instead.)
