I come from an Arabic village in the Galilee. I spent the last two years in a Messianic Bible College here in Tel-Aviv. There I learned and experianced the fact that God is my shepherd. Here I am today working in aMessinaic Outreach Center. As I have worked here I realize more and more that the Lord is my Shepherd. It is and has been amazing the way God is using me here. Almost every day we have people who come in wanting to know more about Dugit, and I find myself ready to preach to them the Gospel of Yeshua. One of the most amazing things was a lady who came in and was involved terribly in witchcraft. she said that a power brought her in. I know that this wast the power of the prayers of the saints here in Dugit. So, Praise God for this place, an oasis of truth and joy here in the heart of Tel-Aviv!

What a blessing it is to watch somone's life transformed before your eyes! God gave me a heart for Israel 3 years ago, when I came here with a tour group. I did not want to leave this place! I was in Bible College at the time and knew that I was called to the ministry overseas. I had a heart for the lost people of the world, but didn't know where to go first. After coming here, I knew where I belonged. I am a student of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Tx. I am here, helping Avi, for a 1 year internship period after which I will recieve my college diploma.
I came here with the idea to bless Israel, but more and more, I see Israel blessing me. How awesome it is to see souls searching for the truth, and finding it here at Dugit. In the two months that I've already been here, I have watched so many lives changed and transformed and so many people finding the truth! It touches my heart every time. I am so honored to be part of a ministry so devoted to souls, and winning them for Yeshua!

Homeless, I came to Dugit 4 years ago - it was one of the places where I could sit and have a cup of coffee together with lave and prayer. Four years ago, I went to the House of Victory in Hiafa to have treatment for alcoholism, which took me 12 months. Then back to Tel-Aviv, being victorious over the flesh, and with a heart for Yeshua to volunteer at Dugit. today after 3 years, God has given me a ministry to help the needy. In Dugit, there are many needy people who stop by. One day, Boaz, a sabra (native Israeli born), homeless and drug addict came to Dugit and asked for help. At Dugit they offered him coffee and talked with him. When he came to a descision that he wanted to be set free and go to a rehabilitation center in Haifa, Dugit came to me and asked me to interview him. I came and interviewed him and found a place for him in the house of victory. PTL! I pray that his outcome will be the same as mine, that the Lord will really make himself real to this young man and turn his life around.

"Something is happening here! Something is happening here!" Shouted Zvi with his arms and smiling face uplifted towards the sky. This sums up our 3 months experiance since God called us to return to Israel. During a Dugit outreach to Dizengoff Square we met Lazer- a retired University Proffessor of Mathematics, who speaks 8 languages. Lazer introduced us to his friends, who are surviors of WW2 concentration camps. They congregate each morning on the benches around the beautiful fountain. OUr apartment is located on the square, so we are able to meet with them regularly. Many times we have listened to   their heart cries of bitterness and hatred towards God who "allowed" 6 million Jews to be slaughtered in the Holocaust. "Comfort, comfort My people, says our God. Speak tenderly...." Isa.40:1 We witnessed a healing begin by listening and sharing God's love and care through Yeshua. Many have singled us out to speak privately of horrendous atrocities locked in their hearts since it happened.
Lazer is now studing a Hebrew Bible and a large print English Bible with the New Testament.

I just wanted to say I'm very glad God has brought me to Israel as was prophesied to me in 1993. Everything came to pass according to the prophecy. I've been here since the 10th of April (1998). I came originally to help Avi Mizrachi reopen the Dugit Center and help prepare it to also become a coffee house. On May 11th the store was ready to be opened. Since then, the Lord has really been bringing people in to recieve ministry. the different outreach groups that have come from the US, Canada, Finland and Sweden have been great! There has been heated opposition out on Dizengoff Square from the Ultra Orthodox Jews, but the Lord has continued to have His way in spite of all.
I have been very blessed to have come to Israel for 6 and a half months. I've had a chanceto lead 2 Jewish men though a prayer of salvation. I've also ministered at the hostel where I've been staying, to many believers who came to stay there for a period of time. Many who come to Israel know God has called them, but lack direction as to why. My latest adventure has been to help with the feeding program for the homeless on the streets every Saturday. They recieve clothing and Bible study  in addition to the meal. this has been a real blessing. One man has been delivered from alcohol. The majority of the 20-25 men are reading the Bibles that have been given to them. They always express how the Word lifts them up for the week. I can see the differance on thier faces as I pass them during the week. We're praying and working on getting them a place to sleep. Please pray with us!

I arrived in Israel with the CFNI summer outreach group, with plans to stay at least a month to volunteer at Dugit. I came to Dugit hoping to learn more about the culture and how to share with Orthodox Jews, Muslim Arabs and Secular Israelis. I have learned so much! First hand, at Dugit you see these 3 people groups and more on a regular basis. It is amazing to me how open the people are. I figured that it would be alot harder, but with prayer coverage (lots of prayer), the insight on how to, what to, and what not to do, and Gods Grace, it is one of the most fruitful and rewarding ministries that I've been blessed to be invloved with. I feel equiped for any future opportunities in Israel of the States. After sharing my faith here, the States seems like a cake walk. I encourage anyone who wants to overcome thier fears and learn on a daily basis, this ministry if for you! Avi, Chaya and all of the volunteers have been nothing but great!
