Obituary
Elsie E Musgrave, daugter of Reinzie and Hannah Merry, was born August 29,1874. She departed this life August 10,1925 at the age of 50 years,11 months, and 11 days.
In 1898 she was united in marriage to Harry A Musgrave. To this union were born four children, Helen, Cecil, Margaret and Guy.
She leaves two daughters, Cecil of Evansville, Margaret Richards of Evansville, one son Guy of Evansville. Two sisters Mrs Lola B. Hilderbrand of Dale and Sadie R. Merry of Evansville. Besides a number of relatives and friends to morn her departure.
She was preceded in death by her father, her brother Alvah C Merry, her husband and one daughter Helen Olive Kemper.
Early in life she gave her heart to God, uniting with the Dale U.B. Church of which she remained an active member until about two years ago when her membership was transferred to the United Brethren Church of Evansville.
Mrs. Musgrave was a true Martha, finding her greatest joy in service. She was a kind and devoted mother. Her place in the Church will be hard to fill, especially in the ranks of the Ladies Aid and the W.M.A. Her optomistic spirit and cheerful disposition even amid the hardship of life are worthy of emulation.
For the past year her heart and soul were in the new church enterprise at Evansville, with great anticipation she looked forward to the day of dedication; but while the dedicatory prayer was being offered she was listening to the homewadd call and a few hours later she answered the summons, entering into the true tabernacle, the house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens, there to be forever with her lord.

**note, Elsie married Nov 2,1909 to James J Steinman, they divorced April 1910. They had no known children.
