MASK II |
Jeremy Sanchez
He was made the leader of MASK 2 after proving himself in the investigation
of Malcolm Darwood. While Matt Trakker was a strategic genius, Jeremy is an
investigtion expert. He drives the Skyhawk, a Chevrolet Corvette that
converts to a jet fighter (apparently standard issue for leaders of MASK and
their enemies). His Hawk mask has three functions: it can fire an energy
projectile (Red Hawk), a probe (White Hawk), or an energy mass that can carry
small objects (Blue Hawk).
For the time travel mission, he was given the
Blackhawk, a Buick Grand National that converts into a command jet.
|
Wei Chang
Wei used every bit of his skill as a heavy vehicle driver to defect from his
native China. After arriving in America, he started to fully embrace American
pop culture. Then he joined MASK 2 to defend it. He drives the Mammoth, a
Kenworth T800 tanker truck that converts into a mobile base and high-rise
tank. His Charger mask allows him to maintain his vehicle's current velocity
even if he hits something immovable, making him a virtual juggernaut.
For his time flashback, he gets a Chevy pickup
monster truck that converts into a monster tank called the Avalanche.
|
Caitlin Horowitz
Caitlin always knew that when she grew up, she would be doing something
involving speed. She never dreamed that she'd be a member of a team of
operatives in transforming cars and supercharged helmets. She drives the
Lightning, a Lamborghini Diablo that converts to a fast-attack hovercraft.
Her Lightspeed mask lets her fire laser beams that can cover a mile in about
half a second!
(Note:Caitlin is the first MASK agent who wears a jacket and skirt as part of
her MASK outfit. Everyone else wears either a jumpsuit or a top with pants.)
On her second return to the past (the first was
with the Lightning), she brought the Swift, a Lamborghini Countach that changes
into an intercepter jet.
|
Rocky Jackson
After serving in the Gulf War, Rocky was just content with cruising the
American highways on his Harley. An unfortunate encounter with certain "bad
elements" led him to join up with MASK 2 as their weapons expert. He rides
the Warhorse, a Harley-Davidson that converts to a gunnery platform. His
Safety mask can deactivate the firing systems of weapons on entire vehicles!
He takes the Mule, an eighties-era
Harley-Davidson that transforms into a gun turret, on his trip to the eighties.
|
Laura Kennedy
At 22, she was one of the youngest graduates of Boston Medical School. At 24,
she joined MASK 2. She has a very opinionated attitude and tends to get into
arguements easily, especially with her boyfriend and teammate Max O'Grady.
She drives the Dove, a Dodge Ram Van ambulance that converts to a MASH unit
(not seen in this story). Her Doctor mask can heal minor battlefield
injuries, but only once an hour.
|
Jack "Scooter" Marshall
Scooter is a young computer expert from Seattle who got into trouble with the
Foxes (VENOM's replacement) when he accidentally hacked into their files.
Partially out of protection and partially out of a strong sense of justice,
he joined up with MASK 2. He has no vehicle due to his inability to work a
steering wheel and a keyboard at the same time. He usually rides in back of
the Mammoth. His Glitch mask allows him to slightly alter data bits enough to
make the computer crash and lock up.
(Note:It should be noted that Scooter is black.)
For his trip to the past, he finally gets a
vehicle. It's a DeLorean DMC-12 that morphs into an ECM (electronic
countermeasures) vehicle called the Katana.
|
Max O'Grady
Max is a young thrillseeker from California. His skills come in handy when he
has to infiltrate the Foxes' headquarters as MASK 2's top spy. Despite his
carefree attitude, he shows a great deal of caring towards his teammates,
especially his girlfriend Laura Kennedy and his cousin Liam (Liam isn't seen
in this story). He drives the Bear, a Nissan Xterra that converts to a heavy
battle tank. His Whisper mask allows him to become silent and invisible to
most sensors (except the naked eye).
Max just got a vehicle for the 80s. It's the
Piggyback, a flatbed trailer that hooks up to the Rhino. The trailer holds three
cargo containers which convert into a helicopter, a tank, and a hovercraft.
|
Enzo Castaldi
When Jeremy saw Enzo's skill
at auto repair, he knew he needed him on the team. He has no idea why Enzo was
discharged by the Italian army, but he suspects it might have something to do
with his odd sense of humor. In battle, Enzo drives the Marlin, a Fiat Coupe
that converts into a recon sub. He also wears Torque mask which projects a
twisting motion on objects.
|
Michael Rainwolf
Michael is a Native American,
possibly from Nevada Rushmore's tribe, who has been studying science most of his
life. Despite his scientific knowledge, he usually has a hard time believing
certain things (including transforming vehicles and masks with super powers)
unless he sees them firsthand. He is also a muscle car enthusiast. He drives the
Wolverine, a '71 Dodge Challenger that converts into a tower tank. His Heat mask
projects a heat ray which can melt steel.
|
Chris Bush Chris is an explosives expert and martial artist from Texas. He has a
tendency to pursue missions with a little too much enthusiasm. He also has a
long-standing rivalry with Crossbones, one of the Foxes. Chris is a major
"Buckaroo Banzai" fan and has been known to quote the movie. Chris
drives the Roc, a Ford F-150 that converts to a jet bomber. His Breaker mask can
destabilize small objects so that they explode when they are thrown at
something.
He takes a new vehicle to the past: the
Clydesdale, a Jeep Commanche pickup that converts to a lookout tower.
|
Kenny Harrison Kenny is a rather large (6'6" and very muscular) Canadian
survivalist. Despite his size and backwoods drawl, he is actually pretty
intelligent. Many a Fox has thought they could outsmart him only to be very
surprised. He drives a Mack Ultraliner tractor-trailer that becomes a mega tank
and command center called Behemoth. His Noah mask can call upon animals for
assistance. Kenny heads into the past with a Freightliner auto transporter that
converts to a transport sub called the Ark.
|
Liam O'Grady Liam is the team's helicopter pilot
from Ireland. He usually manages to keep a cool head in dangerous situations,
except where his cousin Max is concerned. Liam drives the Ferret, a Saturn coupe
that changes into a strike helicopter. His Twister mask projects a pair of
tornados at his enemies.
|
Alex Sector This
original agent was just given the Grasshopper, a Norton motorcycle that converts
to a jet sled.
|
The Foxes |
Malcolm Darwood
Darwood was trained to be an effective evil leader by Miles Mayhem himself.
After Mayhem's death, Darwood put together his own team of lowlifes, the
Foxes. He is every bit as devious as Mayhem as well (although he replaces
cruelty with subterfuge.) He drives the Firefox, an Acura NSX that converts
into a jet fighter. His Fox mask emits a light blast that confuses anyone
caught in the flash for 10 seconds.
He goes off to see Miles Mayhem again with the
Fox Hunter, a Lotus Esprit that switches into a jump jet (like the Harrier).
|
Richard Bates ("Rocks")
After commiting several break-ins in Cincinatti, Darwood sprung him from jail
and put him to work as the Foxes' armor expert. He has a low tolerance for
screwups and has been known to leave lollygaggers behind. He drives the Lion,
a Hummer H1 that converts into a tower tank (basicly a modern version of a
medieval seige tower). His Pierce mask fires a projectile that goes through
most armor like tissue paper.
Rocks was given the Foxes' new time transport,
the Bandit. The Bandit is a DC-3 Dakota that changes into a flying tank.
|
Craig Hudson ("Slash")
He is a noted strongarm robber from St. Louis who makes up for his lack of
smarts with tons of brawn. Nobody on his team understands him, except his
partner "Hack" (get it?). He usually drives the Ram, an Isuzu Vehicross that
converts into a ground attack plane. His Surge mask projects an electrical
field that can stun.
While predating the Slash from Guns 'N' Roses,
he drives the Falconeer, a Toyota 4Runner that can also be an armored car.
|
Daniel Hurt ("Hack")
He is still wanted for many burglaries in his hometown of Minneapolis. He was
about to be arrested when Darwood's headhunters grabbed him. "Hack" was
immediately partnered with "Slash" and the two have been unstoppable. He used
to drive the Doberman, a '71 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that converted into a tower
tank until it was destroyed. He still uses his Gecko mask which allows him to
climb sheer walls and cliffs with ease.
|
Leonard Norris ("Skull")
He graduated with honors from Yale University five years ago. He started
managing an underground fighter named Dennis Paulsen shortly after that.
Darwood picked up the supergenius and his fighter friend, named them "Skull"
and "Crossbones" and put them to work at crime. Skull drives the Juggernaut,
a massive off-road transport that converts to a command center and assault
tank. His Hacker mask allows him to interface with any computer, even from a
distance. It can also bypass security features and firewalls.
Despite his fear of flying, he now has an Isuzu
Impulse that converts to a spy plane. He calls it the Blue Max.
|
Dennis Paulsen ("Crossbones")
After he earned a black-belt in his fifth form of kung-fu, Paulsen took his
skills where they'd most be useful: the underground fighting circuit. Darwood
headhunted him and his manager, Leonard "Skull" Norris, and set them to work.
Crossbones can deliver an extremely hurtful insult one minute and some Zen
philosophy the next. He drives the Beluga, a Chevy Express plumber's van that
converts into an attack sub. His Chi mask allows him to channel energy into
his hands to throw projectiles.
Daniel Hurt ("Hack") He joins his
partner Slash in the Reagan era with the Intruder, a Pontiac Trans Am (yes, the
same one he stole) that becomes an infiltration vehicle.
He now has the Brawler, a Ford custom van that
morphs into a tank with robotic arms.
|
Charlie Weller ("Dr. Frankenstein")
He studied computers and human anatomy in college before graduating at 19.
Not surprisingly, he started building robots with his knowledge. After
Darwood hired him, he created something truly vicious: the Foxes' androids
including the Hornet foot soldiers and Wasp drivers. Dr. Frankenstein hates
the name Darwood gave him and has been voted Most Likely to Betray the Foxes
by Jeremy Sanchez. He'd also like to forget that he once had a vehicle. His
Droid mask allows him to put a person under mind control for five minutes.
Charlie Weller ("Dr. Frankenstein") He
returns to the time of Anthony Michael Hall with the Knight, an ATV that changes
into a suit of mechanized armor.
|
Cassidy Lucas
("Flash")
Cassidy used to be a race car driver who was also one of Caitlin's rivals.
When Caitlin discovered she was now working with the Foxes, she couldn't believe
it. (Unfortunately, Flash discovered Caitlin and Laura were MASK agents in the
same incident. They decided to keep it secret out of mutual respect and honor.)
Flash drives the Rocket, a Dodge Viper GTS that converts to a fast attack
vehicle. Her Wormhole mask can open up a tunnel that is three quarters shorter
inside than outside. (That is if the ends of the tunnel are a mile apart, the
tunnel inside is only a quarter mile inside.)
In the 80s, she gets to live out a possible
"Miami Vice" fantasy with the Blur, a Ferrari Testarossa which becomes
an attack plane.
|
Marcus Gilford Gilford is
an old college buddy of Malcolm Darwood who has become a professional assassin
and is now working for the Foxes. He has a major superiority complex and thinks
of himself as smarter and better than the other VENOM agents and Foxes. He
really hates it when his orders fall short of killing anybody, which he says
wastes his skills as an assassin. Before the trip back in time, he had no
vehicle. He now has the Tigershark, a coach (kind of a bus laid out like an RV)
that converts to a destroyer. His Shockwave mask fires a projectile that does
little damage to the target, but creates and energy wave that heavily damages
whatever's behind the target.
|
Melissa "The Eagle" Cale Cale is another
college friend of Malcolm Darwood's who became a top industrial spy. She also
does spywork for the Foxes, but is so devious not even they trust her. Odds are
she has a hidden agenda in any given mission, no matter how innocent. She drives
the War Eagle, a Lincoln Navigator that converts into a battle mech. Her Insider
mask allows her to see what someone else sees through their mask.
|
Frank Kelly("Blades") Darwood chose
Blades as the Foxes' helicopter pilot after witnessing his work smuggling guns
into Mexico. He later regretted the decision when he saw that Blades was such a
coward he usually ran BEFORE the first shot was fired. When he's not running
from the action, he's going into it with the Rabbit, a Volkswagen Golf that
transforms into a recon helicopter. His Rotor mask fires a rotor blade at
opponents.
|
Calvin Lucas("Gearbox") Calvin and his
sister Cassidy were recruited for the Foxes at the same time. (Cassidy Lucas is
called "Flash".) While Flash drives vehicles build for speed, Gearbox
drives vehicles built large. He is usually only cares for himself, but will
fight for his sister if the need should arise. He drives the Monster, a
Winnebago that changes into a mobile base. His Leech mask can drain the energy
from a living being and turn it into a projectile.
