MAN TO MAN OFFENSIVE PLAYS

KENTUCKY - Rick Pitino uses this great offense to set up three point shots and also get lay-ups from backdoor cuts.

FLEX - This is the Flex Offense used by virtually every college team in the country at some point in their season.

CLEAR - OUT - This is a great option to use with the flex offense above.  This will give
your point guard a clear out option to go 1 on 1 and if he can't score the play will turn into flex.

FLEX BREAK - The flex break will help your team get easy baskets and get into the flex offense quickly. See this weeks Break Down Section for more on the flex offense.

SYRACUSE - Syracuse uses this offense to isolate their big man in the lane.

DOUBLE PICK - Double pick will get your best shooters open looks at the basket.

ZONE OFFENSIVE PLAYS

ZONE 1 - This zone offense will work well against 2 -3, 3 -2, 1 -3 -1 and match up among others.

ZONE 2 - A simple zone offense which can be used at any level of basketball you coach or play.

ZONE 3 - Another zone offense with alot of players flashing the lane and getting open 3's.

ZONE PRESS BREAK - A simple press break which is effective against 2-2-1, 1-2-2 and most other zone presses.

DEFENSIVE PLAYS

DUKE'S MAN TO MAN - I call this Duke's man to man because they do it as well or better than most. This will show you the basic rules.

MATCH UP ZONE - This will show you the basic movements of the 1-2-2 match up zone.
