I'm a divorced, 47 yr. old woman. I'm the mother of 3 wonderful adult children. My youngest child, a daughter, is 18 and currently in Basic Training in the U.S. Army. My middle son is 20, has a good job, and still lives at home (I sometimes think he has it a bit too easy. lol!). My oldest son is 26, married to a wonderful woman, and has a beautiful young son. They've also recently found out that they will be blessed with another child who will be born around April of 2001. I have been out of work for approximately 6 years now, due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. As a result, I've had a lot of time on my hands to think about my life, so I decided to create a web site to try and help people overcome their grief.
I can't guarantee that this site will help everyone or even anyone. All I can say is that by writing down my final thoughts to MY loved one, I have come to terms with her passing and can now move forward with my life. I believe that someday, when my time comes to say goodbye to my loved ones, my mother will be there to come and get me and we will be together once again. |
