My dad kept fish when I was a child & I was allowed to look after the Guppy & swordtail fry, but seriously, as an adult, 25 years.

I am a senior judge and the judges secretary for the Union of Scottish Aquarists & an honorary life member of K.A.S.

What types of fish/tanks do you have & numbers of tanks.

At present at home I have a 6ft tank plus a small tank in the house & 25 tanks in a small fish house. I also have a 4x2x2 tank in my office at work.

The larger tanks are community & the fish house tanks belong to catfish, Barbs & Characins.

Together with my husband, Mike, I have bred too many to mention. Our main interests has always been Barbs, Catfish, but I have an interest in Anabantids.

I have always enjoyed showing more than breeding. Along with Mike, we have won many “Best Classes & Best in Shows” over the years .But our best ever win & the latest is the Champion of Champions trophy, for “The Jimmy Gilbert Memorial Quaich”

Other interests outside fishkeeping. If its is another club etc, give details so we cane advertise them.

I am a member & Secretary of Crail Horticultural Society 35 + years.

I participate in the Industrial & handicraft sections in the shows which are held twice a year.

I enjoy caravan holidays with my husband Mike & our two pups “ Kevi & Tarka”. This enables us to explore new fish outlets in England.

Do you have any person or several persons that you admire. This can be in the hobby or family or others

In the Hobby I must say George Kane, for his enthusiasm & knowledge that he passed on during my early years in the hobby.

The late Jimmy Gilbert who became Mike & I's best friend, he also had these good qualities, jimmy also had time to help & discuss fish with fellow aquarists.

My husband Mike, who I admire the most. He has put up with all my requests for building/demolishing/building of past fish houses & how he put up with me I will never know.

What is your future outlook within the hobby. What are yours goals within the hobby.

I would love to have a small aquatic outlet , but I think this is now just a pipe dream.

My goal is to complete the K.A.S Supreme breeding certificate using all “first time bred”.

How long have you served on the K.A.S committee & what posts have you held in the past up to the present.

I have been secretary twice over the past 20 years & I am presently treasurer for the last 3 years.
