In 1992 I went to visit a friend who lives there in Ironton and she took me to see the new museum. Before we went inside we stopped and bought some fast food and took it to the park on what was the battlefield of Fort Davidison. While we were eating I was looking over the grounds. It was a nice peaceful place. Then as we were talking I saw what I thought was a statute and cannon. I yold her how I liked the way they had made the statute look so lifelike by painting it and putting the cannon beside it. She looked at me like I had lost my mind. She said they didn't have any statues. The only cannon was inside the museum. We got up and walked toward the statue it faded away and so did the cannon. After that we went insid the museum and I saw the cannon but not the soldier.
I don't know if you can use this story, but I really did see it and they really did laught about my statute.
