The CESA supports entomological researches, which are based on its collection of natural-history specimens (especially Lepidoptera), and it organizes expeditions, publishes the results of the studies, which has been carried out in the CESA. |

The Museum of the CESA undertakes the preparations of the Web Pages concerning the lists of the scientific materials of Insecta in its collections with their digital images, as well as an Electronic Herbarium of Turkey. |

The CESA functions as an educational centre for the postgraduate students in many respects.
