This website is dedicated toward the discusion and promotion of the new edge design trend that is sweeping the automotive market at the current time. New edge design is about combining smooth curves and sharp lines to create a unique and futuristic look. It is a refreshing change from the "jellybean" shaped cars of the early to mid 90's, such as the Ford Taurus.
New edge design can currently be seen on many cars on the market today. Some of these include the Mercury Cougar, the Ford Focus line up, the "next" Toyota Celica, and the new Ford Mustang. The "New Edge" website is mainly dedicated to the Cougar since I own one. However, I will eventually expand the "New Edge" to include links and discusions on the design of other new edge design cars, in the near future.
