Much like making a sandwich, you must now put the two sides (mind and body) together so that they can become one and compound their efforts toward your goal - Increasing overall health. Whether you are competitive or just a maintainer, these two factors are absolutely neccessary for success. Making the time to help yourself is quite difficult for most. Sometimes cutting time from more useless or (as I like to call them), mindless activities can be difficult. Just remember that getting started is the hard part and once moving, the pleasure taken will far outweigh the gratification of the "old you" pasttimes.

Now that you have all the simplified tools neccessary for physical and mental satisfaction, the question might be: "How far can a simplified program such as this take me?" And the answer can and should be: "As far as I want to go." Listen to what your body tells you. adapt, and educate yourself once you have gotton comfortable with the basics. Never stop learning because it can only put you at a higher level. That's why I encourage book reading so enthusiastically. You will see results as long as you stick to a plan (such as this one) and a goal. You must not get discouraged by others. One of my favorite quotes by Mark Twain goes like this:

- Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambition. Small people always do that, but the really great ones make you feel that you, too, can become great.

Follow true to this and be honest to yourself. Do it and take pride in being a better person for it.
