ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR HandsNet's Training and Resource Center is located in Washington, DC and teaches Internet application and online technology to nonprofit professionals. HandsNet has an immediate opening for an Administrative coordinator to oversee office management, class registration, and training preparation. Duties include: - Answer phones and respond to general inquiries and requests for information via phone, fax, email and the World Wide Web - Maintain Training Center databases, including data entry for course registration and generation of confirmation letters - Manage collection and tracking of payments - Prepare training packets - Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and maintain office inventory - Assist in managing the day-to-day operation of the Center's computer lab - Update quarterly Training Center Calendar and other marketing materials - Provide administrative support to Training Center Director - Develop and maintain effective working relationships with HandsNet staff, clients, and partner organizations Qualifications: - 1-3 years successful experience managing an office or position with equivalent responsibilities - Strong working knowledge of Windows 95 and Macintosh OS (both preferred) - Working knowledge of standard business applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and desktop publishing - Excellent organizational and inter-personal skills Salary: $28,000 Please submit resume and cover letter to: Krissi Jimroglou, Training Center Director 1990 M Street, NW Suite 550 Washington, DC 20036 Fax: 202/872-1245
