Above is my new FZR 600.  Presently, it sits in Carlisle, at Sam's garage patiently waiting warmer weather. The bike was purchased last month.  I haven't had too much time to aquaint myself with it's inner workings but i know it has a "Stage 3 jet kit" and a Yoshimura "Off Road" pipe.  The bike is really clean- fairings have been professionally resprayed and tires, clutch and wheels have all been replaced.

The bike weighs about 390lbs and puts 77bhp to the wheel in stock form.

My bro Nick with his New FZ600. The bike is undergoing a complete restoration this winter. In this picture, the gas tank, plastics and airbox are removed so we can remove and service the carbs. Below is a picture of the carbs while they are still attached to the cylinder head.

Here are the carbs- the butterflies are frozen shut on all cylinders. We removed them and completely freed the stuck shafts and cleaned the old gas out of the resovoirs. Next on the agenda- replace warped front brake rotors, general engine service, reattach speedometer cable, oil change and test.. more pictures to come.  Jan 5th, 2002

This is my new helmet, a gift from my brothers. It's an AGV top vent or "Demon"

Below is a helpful reference chart for FZR owners.  This is a copy from the Clymer manual.
