Baked Beans
Ingredients 50 Servings
Canned Vegetarian Beans 1 gal 2 1/2 qt
Fresh Onions, chopped 1 qt
Molasses 1 cup
Dry Mustard 2 Tablespoons
Brown Sugar 1.2 cup
Water 2 cups
Tomato Paste 1 cup
Ham, diced (optional) 3 cups
 
  1. Pour beans into steamtable pan (12" X 20" X 4")
  2. Combine onions, molasses, dry mustard, brown sugar, water, tomato paste, and ham. Blend well.
  3. Pour over  beans in pan. Stir to combine. Cover pan.
  4. Bake; conventional over 350 degrees for 2.5 hours, convection oven 325 for 1.25 hours. Remove cover during last half of baking to brown beans.
