The travel writers are kind to Mazatlan, but they don't tell the full story.  There is so much more to Mazatlan than what you'll find on the usual tourist agenda, and in these pages we'll attempt to fill that void with some of the places, things and people that have made our trips to Mazatlan so memorable and rewarding.  We're not going to expound on the beauty of the beaches, though we sure could if you hadn't already heard of them, and we aren't going to take you to the bullfights, the golf courses or the Fiesta.  Rest assured, the local tour promoters will see that you have plenty of opportunity to see those things.  What we will take you to are the out-of-the-way places we have found that we don't see listed in the brochures.  We're also going to share some of our secrets…. Let you in on how to build your own itinerary and find some pretty interesting sites in the process. We won't go so far as to suggest you skip all the things Mazatlan is so popular for, and, in fact, if you are planning your first trip to Mazatlan, we think you need to do a whole lot of the usual touristy things, too.  We just want you to find more than the beach and the night haunts! We want you to grow  to understand the local peoples and their lifestyles in order to fully appreciate the wonderfully diverse city they live in. We're going to introduce you to some of the people who have given us our understanding and appreciation for Mazatlan, and we're going to take you along on some of the side trips we've made.  If you are visiting us as an old-timer to Mazatlan, and have experiences to share, please contact us.  Ok, now, take a look around and have a nice Cyber Trip!
