My Wife

I watch your gentle hands open the cereal
and pour on the milk.
Your golden hair about your face like fine spun silk.
Your soft loving smile sweet as the fragrance of a rose.
In the morning sunlight your satin skin has such a beautiful glow.
Your sparkling eyes are as blue as the clear morning sky.
I pray I'll never do anything to cause them to cry.
God blessed me with an angel to be my wife,
I'll thank Him each day for the rest of my life.
