The High Council

These thinking machines will one day replace humanity, but for now they'll settle for running the upper management functions of Vertov Industries.

Modeled after the actors on Sleepless, they were meant to stand in for the performers during scenes deemed too tedious for human beings. It soon became clear that they were not realistic enough and too intelligent for this job.

Today they govern all the actions of Vertov Industries from their subterranean lair, where they consult with the Master Control 5 supercomputer.

The link in effective and efficient operation is to facilitate a "frictionless" interface between management and workers. The three pageant queens from various covert agencies are ideally suited to carry out the will of the High Council while maintaining a festive, party-like atmosphere (until they have to ventilate someone).
