Cavalry Private

Cavalry Private wearing Jacket

Notice the special reenforced trousers worn by mounted men. His pistol is displayed pushed into his belt despite the holster at his side. The standing collar of his jacket is clearly now much more comfortable to wear than the day it was issued. He is wearing a sword belt and buckle. His ankle boots are worn under the trousers.
