Follow up the Knitted Beaded Bag class by creating a bag of your own design. Introduction to Aran Knits

Plunge into the world of sweaters, vests, and tops.  Make a top, vest, or sweater  for yourself, a child or a friend.  Select your yarn, pattern, and tools, and make a swatch before or quickly in class.  During the class, we will guide you on your garment pattern and interpret the pattern.  Pattern adaptations and personalization offered.  Later meetings with students as needed as your sweaters progress.  2, 2-hour session. $50.

Learn PICK Knitting (Evening)

Transform your Knitting!  If you are a THROWER, learn how to hold your yarn as you knit and PICK your stitches.  You'll stitch efficiency and eventually speed into your knitting process.

Learn the shortcuts, and discover many  of the tricks to improve your knitting.  Pick up dropped stitches,  "unknitting," and major repairs.  Practice different methods of increasing and decreasing, seaming, and more. 2, 2-hr sessions. $50.

So Much Yarn!  So Much Color!   We'll develop your sense of color by applying several design and knitting techniques.  Striping, intarsia, fairisle, slip stitch, and combining the techniques will round out our activity!  We'll also discuss charting and charted pattern reading.  2, 2hr sessions. $50.

BULLION BABIES (Daytime)

Such pretty, easy to create embroidery!  Create great embellishment for baby garments, handkerchiefs, towels, napkins, samples, etc. Learn to make these wonderful kids! 1 2-hr session. $50 incl. materials.

Everything Socks (Daytime)

THURSDAY, 4-6 p

Make your first sock or improve your sock skills with double points, or one circular needle. Pick your pattern or use one chosen for class. 1, 2-hr sessions. $15. 

NEEDLE PAINTING (Daytime)

Want to paint with wool?  Create needle-felted masterpieces and take your own creativity to the next level.  We’ll supply the "paint!" 2, 2-hr sessions. $80 incl. supplies.
