Mission
The purpose of Happening - A Christian Experience program, as part of the Episcopal Church is to be one of the instruments to renew the Christian Church in the power of the Holy Spirit, that the Church may respond more readily to its call to spread the Kingdom of God throughout the world.
Method: Happening - A Christian Experience seeks to achieve this purpose by bringing young persons and adults to a fuller personal knowledge of and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and a deeper level of commitment to apostleship.
Advisory Board Mission Statement: The mission of the Happening Advisory Board is to maintain the presence of the program "Happening: A Christian Experience" as an integral part of the formation of Christian faith for the youth of the Diocese of Western New York.
