The Dulcimer Discography Neal Walters

In addition to "The Classic Recordings," I would like to prepare a discography (and perhaps later on a bibliography as well) of all recordings that relate to the dulcimer. This will be a labor of some magnitude and right now is even further on the back burner than the classical list. Nonetheless, I am looking for ideas on how best to do this. Basically, I see this as an on-line source for information on all known dulcimer-oriented recordings. This could be organized in any number of ways. I would prefer to prepare an alphabetical list by artist with discographical information (perhaps with a short, objective, descriptive annotation to allow the researcher/reader to generally understand the kind of music that the album contains). The discographical information will show Artist, Record Label, Catalog Number, Year of Release, etc. I'm not a librarian so the concept of an "annotated discography" in some academic sense is a bit foreign to me although I'm sure I could learn how to do that. I'm more interested in the practical value of such a listing rather than the academic side of it. Again, any and all contributions of data and/or ideas on how to best do are appreciated.
