TURKEY
Once home to the Galatian Celtic, Byzantine, and Ottoman cultures, the modern day Turkey is a secularized Islamic state, serving as a problem child for both Europe and their own ethnic minorities, including Kurds. In any case, they also house some of the warmest and friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of running into.
