Biography
Apostle and understudy Pilate in the original West End production
of "Jesus Christ Superstar" in 1997 and 1998 and
Pontius Pilate and alternate Judas in the European tour
1999-2000, and UK national tour. Pilate in Sweden 2002.
Musketeer in "Cyrano De Bergerac" and Schlomo
Metzenbaum in "Fame - The Musical" both in Stockholm,
Sweden. Fred is currently signeed to BMG Records in Sweden. His
first album was released in 1994 and went to sell over 10,000
copies; his second "Barely Half Alive" was launched in
1999.
Fred has also worked and recorded with some of today's biggest
pop acts including artists such as Ace of Base, Lutricia McNeal
and Meya.
Fred has written songs for Meya and for Frida (One of the A's in
ABBA) for her Swedish solo album. He has also written and
co-written all of the songs on his own albums and is currently
working on material for his third.
He has made numerous TV and Radio Appearances whilst promoting
his own two albums and has guested with many other artists and
makes his film debut as Pontius Pilate in the new "Jesus
Christ Superstar" video, released in 2000.
Fred performed in "Notre-Dame de Paris" from the London opening in May 2000 till 28th July 2001. He was an alternate, and then was one of the principal singers.
