joseph2.jpg (148756 bytes)For more than 25 Years, “Hall of Fame Performer - Joseph Anthony", has been ranked among the Top Touring Elvis Tribute Artist in the World. Based in Houston,TX  Joseph is a true Elvis fan, who started performing his Elvis tribute in junior high school while Elvis was still alive. 

                In 1991 he began touring with Elvis' authentic concert and recording 1970’s show group “The Stamps Quartet”. The Stamps are a star attraction opening Joseph’s show with a variety of music and comic anecdotes, plus provide him with authentic and majestic backup vocals, just as they did for Elvis. For Elvis fans, Joseph and The Stamps brought an ere of authenticity back to LasVegas while performing there at The Tropicana Casino and Hotel and to the numerous prestigious venues across the United States. The Stamps leader “J.D. Sumner called the show the “Most Authentic Elvis Tribute Show On The Planet”! In addition to The Stamps Quartet, Joseph has also performed in concert successfully with Elvis' 1950’s & 60’s backup vocalist “The Jordanaires”. 

                Joseph was inducted  July 10, 1992 into the “Elvis Presley International Impersonators Hall of Fame” at the Hacienda Casino Hoteljoseph1.jpg (390214 bytes) in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

                In 1992 he performed for the grand opening of the first Isle of Capri Casino located in Biloxi,MS and has performed for the Casino Chain in additional locations around the country as they were built.  

                National performance venues have included Casinos, Stadiums, Fairs, Festivals, Theaters, Cruise Lines, Show Boats, Shopping Malls, and Concert Halls across the U.S.A. 

                International live concerts have been performed in Canada, Scotland, England, Germany, Holland, Punte’ del’ Este’ Uruguay South America, and twice in The Czech Republic.  

                Joseph was the first American musical guest to perform on TV NOVA. Nova Television was established in Prague, in 1994 soon after the fall of communism, and was the Czech Republic’s first free speaking national television station. 

                Joseph starred as a weekly non rotating headliner at the Flamingo Hilton Casino - Laughlin,NV in the award winning production of JukeBox Giants.                 Joseph has appeared in two films,“Elvis has Left the Building”, to be released in 2005, starring Kim Bassinger, Angie Dickenson, Denise Richards, John Corbett, Pat Morita, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sean Astin, and Annie Potts, and “Cultivating Charlie”, in 1994, starring Richard Libertini (The In-Laws) and Jake Webber (TV’s Medium) . He has depicted Elvis in TV commercials, including “Your Best Call” for (Southwestern Bell), and at Harrah’s Casino - Las Vegas,  to promote travel to Las Vegas. In addition, he has portrayed Elvis in many promotional print ads.  

                Joseph created and has toured the U.S. with his stage production titled “The Aloha from Hawaii Satellite Concert-Revisited”.

The production recreates the historic “Elvis Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite” concert, viewed live in 1973 by 1 Billion people in 43 countries. The recreation features The Stamps Quartet, an authentic Polynesian Review, and The Joseph Anthony Orchestra .  

                Joseph has toured the U.S. and Canada with The Elvis Presley Museum On Tour-Licensed by the Elvis Presley Estate. Along with Joseph’s show, the traveling museum contained 16 show cases of Elvis’ authentic wardrobe, jumpsuits, jewelry, and an automobile. Joseph has a heartfelt letter of endorsement from owners Kathy Velvet and recording artist Jimmy Velvet praising a job well done. 

                Original recordings are included in an album titled “Too Hot To Handle” recorded at  Merit Studio in Nashville, TN, featuring  J.D. Sumner and The Stamps Quartet on backup vocals. 

                A personal letter dated  July 3' 1997 from J.D. Sumner, Elvis’ friend and the worlds lowest bass singer, are among the many treasured endorsements for Joseph’s show. It Reads as follows…

                In addition to his Reflections of Elvis show, and Aloha Revisited production, Joseph offers a variety of entertainment. Packages can include Mobile Disc Jockey and Karaoke Services, additional Tribute Artist of all musical genres, national and local bands and singers, and a variety of 50’s,60,’s and 70’s gold record artist combinations, and more. 

                Outside of the field of entertainment, Joseph is a volunteer certified youth minister at his church, and he enjoys tinkering with and repairing windows based computers at home.
