We used to admit members for free! But now with hundreds of members each newsletter would cost us over $350 to reproduce and mail. In the future any NEW members will be assessed $10 per year. Dodging the Membership Fee If you can receive our newsletter as an attached PDF file, readable with Adobe Acrobat Reader, membership is still free! You can do this in two ways:

A download of Acrobat Reader is available free from http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html The Ornifolks Survey In the near future we hope you will be able to enter or update survey data from this website. The survey is to help us stay in touch with our members and find out where folks want to go birding or organize a trip. For now, surveys are available via snail mail from Mike Flieg. Or, simply tell us where you'd like to go (if you're a member). Newsletters are printed and mailed at irregular intervals as the need warrants- hopefully this website will help us keep expenses down and still get the word out. We generally issue 2-3 NL/yr.
