"Daudi Baldrs" is already the fifth full-lenght album from Varg Vikernes.
This is not ( in the good ) old style as it was. But a sad album which only contains synthersizers. We all know how difficult it is to be
creative when you are in jail. And Varg Vikernes knows that as well. With minimalistic instruments, he made a quitte good album.
It's very strange to hear, but after a while you really get impressed by the sound.
The production is also O.K.
The artwork is simply brilliant! Beatiful paintings about Vikings and Norwegian mythes.

The fourth album of Burzum is an absolute masterpiece! The work is much slower and his voice is also different. But damn, I was really in a
trance when I was listening to it. Varg uses a drumcomputer now and that gives an extra dimension. Just listen to the song Jesu dod (2), one of the
fastest songs and it has real mean vocals. The production isn't very clear also, just if it was recorded in a old dungeon, chills!!!
The artwork is (once again) beautiful. If you haven't got this album, go to your local recordshop and buy it immediatly, or else...

Third album, real strange. Only four songs, but the playing time is almost 45 minutes. The album opens with "Det Som En Gang Var" it starts
with a real sad keyboard tune and guitar, and after that you hear the most beautiful vocals you've ever heard.
"Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" and "Inn I Slottet Fra Droemmen" are good, but nothing special. "Tomhet" is a keyboard song, with a nice melody,
which looks like the work on "Daudi Baldrs". "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" is also a perfect bridge between "Det Som Engang Var" and "Filosofem".

This is the second album, and personally my least favourite, the half of the album consists of some boring soundscapes and other instrumental work.
The rest of the songs are ok but nothing special, except "snu mikrokosmos tegn" which has got a perfect riff. Once again the artwork is perfect.
The production is also perfect, but i said it before, those soundscapes are f*cking boring, but i forgive Him.

Debut album, which sounds primitive and strange structures, but this is a masterpiece , It contains also some soundscapes but this time they are good.
I've got the digi-pack which contains "Aske" as well. Aske is also perfect and it contains a "punky" song called "Stemmen Fra Taarnet" which is perfect.
and a new version of "A Lost Forgotten Sad Spirit" unfortunatly i haven't got the original so i can't tell you ig this is better than the original or not.
The artwork and production are perfect and for an 18 year old (at that time) is this ofcourse a hellish masterpiece.
