TOM CRUM

A few months ago, I wrote a letter to John’s best friend, Tom Crum. I knew how close their friendship was, and I needed to ask him if he thought that John had been really happy those last months.

He not only answered my letter, but was kind enough to send a package with a few items, one of which was a book he had written and signed to me.

I can see by the sad events which recently transpired in his own life, how and why he and John Denver were so close.

His answer to my question was "I think John was feeling far more peace and enthusiasm for life and for living fully. He went out going for it!"
