Who is this Furby?

Greetings! This site has been online for a couple of years now, but I have never really told you who I am. I mean, this random furby with a bat'leth pops up and I give little to no explanation for it. So this its the 101 on me, your webmistress, the Bat'leth Wielding Furby...

Q: So this is gonna be a question answer thing is it? So you're totally stealing the format from the Five Minute Voyager FAQ's?
A: Yes. And yes.

Q: Will that not bother them?
A: Not if they don't find out ;)

Q: Sneaky.
A: Everyone's a critic...I'm not stealing, I'm imitating. Which is the sincerest form of flattery, apparently.

Q: So it's not just that you couldn't think of a decent format yourself then?
A: I did...it had just been used before. Gees...;)

Q: Ok, I'll ask an actual question now.
A: About time.

Q: What's a five minute voyager?
A: *Sigh* It is a really cool site where I currently spend a lot of my time. Its a satirical site full of funny people, which if you had been paying attention, you would have seen that I linked at the top of the page.

Q: Funny haha or funny weird?
A: A bit of both ;)

Q: Good point, you go there. So, have you done any of these "fivers"?
A: Yes, currently one, but I am writing another as we speak. Can we ask about my site now?

Q: Er, sure if you like, but 5MV is far more interesting.
A: I agree, but unfortunately it isn't mine. Back to me now?

Q: If I must...So, you said webmistress. Does that mean you're a girl?
A: Amazing deductive powers. Tell me, your nickname is Sherlock, right?

Q: *whispers* And clearly little miss sarcasm is yours...
A: Hey! I heard that...but yes, it is.

Q: So, why did you make this site then?
A: Well...a couple of reasons. Firstly, my best friend had one.

Q: Hmm...spoiled brat syndrome?
A: No, well maybe a little. I was intrigued by the concept of building a home on the net, and I wanted to learn how to do it. This little site taught me a lot.

Q: Great...it's not terribly high tech though, is it?
A: Nope.

Q: No defence?
A: No. It is basic. I use Trellix to create the site and do updates offline, and then it updates it all to my tripod site. I don't know HTML or anything like that.

Q: So basically you're winging it?
A: Got it in one! ;D

Q: You didn't tell us the other reasons you made the site.
A: I love Voyager. I am an out and proud Trekkie, which people find most odd. I get "You don't look like a Trekkie" all the time. Apparently we should wear a sign or something. So to tell the world, I attempted this site. I'm currently trying to think of a way to make it more of a "come back daily" site, but am stuck for ways to do that. I am actually rather a busy person, despite appearance to the contrary.

Q: And this "Bat'leth Wielding Furby" thing, where did that come from?
A: It all started with my friend Vegeta over at the Saiyan Army Barracks. She wrote a piece entitled "The chainsaw wielding furby saga", which is very funny by the way, you should all go read it, and I sorta Trekkiefied it. Klingons are my favourite Trek race, and I love bat'leths. I want one someday.

Q: That's really sad.
A: Yeah, maybe. But I still want one. Another reason for the name and concept is that it is guaranteed to be unique. I bet you won't see that anywhere else on the net!

Q: Possibly for a good reason.
A: Oi! No dissing the furby.

Q: So, what do you do with your life other than not update this site terribly regularly?
A: I work for a living. Stupidly I left full time education after A levels and my parents made me earn some money.

Q: A levels?
A: I live in England. You do them after GCSE's at the end of high school. Its further education, but I didn't go to Uni, basically because I didn't know what to study because I didnt know what I wanted to do.

Q: And do you now?
A: No, but the money is useful.

Q: So how old are you then?
A: I was born 18th November 1983, so currently, today, I am 20 years old. But, depending on when you read this I could be older.

Q: You assume people will read this?
A: Well they might. Think of it as a kinda disclaimer.

Q: OK, what else do you do?
A: Oh, you know, this and that. I'm learning to use Adobe Photoshop which is a lot of fun. Plus, I literally just started to learn to play the guitar.

Q: Interesting. Are you any good?
A: No! I can barely hold it!

Q: Do anything else?
A: Yes, but it would take all day to type here. If you really want to know about this furby I have a pretty new LiveJournal account which I frequently ramble in on more or less a daily basis.

Q: Is that supposed to make up for not updating this site more often?
A: No, but it's something. What do you want? Blood?

Q: Yes.
A: Well tough, you can't have it.

Q: Oh, rats.
