Visitor Center (10/98)

View Copy of Program
This project was completed during my third semester. All projects during third semester were to be of wood construction. This particular project was to be a 5,000 sq. ft visitor center sited in a large ravine somewhere in Arizona. Also on the site was a forest and lake. It was to be a facility where visitors would come to learn more about the site. Circulation was a very important theme in this particular project. The building consisted of six hallways. Each hallway served a specific service, whether it be a lobby or an area themed on a specific aspect of the site (the lake for instance). My project started on one grade at the lobby, and through a series of ramps, filtered out at about 10 feet below entrance.
