It features Douglas Fairbanks as Petruchio and Mary Pickford as Katherine.
They both carry whips before they reach their wedded bliss and the director uses a most
interesting device for Katherine's "submission." I don't want to ruin the
ending for you, so you'll have to take my word for it that you'll enjoy this one.
Douglas Fairbanks is a wonderful Petruchio!! When he shows up dressed for the
wedding, he is wearing a boot on his head for a hat. Mary Pickford is appropriately
petulant as Katherine, and she is a true match for Fairbanks.
