James- A very competitive guy from California. He has a very Catholic background and his father used to be a priest (but left to marry Jim's mother). He attends UC Berkeley and can also be found on the Real World/Road Rules Challenge 2001 having a semi-romantic relationship w/ Rebecca of RW 7: Seattle. He can be seen (almost) hooking up with Holly this season.

M'Saada- Like, James, M'Saada is from California and her father is a preacher. But, that's where the similarities end. M'Saada is a laid-back, African-American girl from South-Central L.A. M'Saada is in an interracial relationship with a Parisian magician and her dream is to become a professional tap dancer. Though only 4'11" M'Saada is a flower waiting to bloom.

Latterrian (LT)- This African-American J. Crew model claims to have two personalities; Laterrian, the deep thinker who loves Robert Frost's writing and T, the player who parties. Either way, he is an important part of this season. His hook up with Kathryn sparked a lot of drama this season.

Holly- She is an extremely athletic girl from California who, like James, hates to lose. Holly enjoys sex very much and had many emotional conflicts this season (especially when it came to James). But, because of this, Holly ended the season a stronger person than ever. *News! Holly recently married Chadwick from RR 6: Australia and can be seen w/ him and 31 others on Road Rules/Real World Battle of the Seasons.*

Theo- At first, this Lousiania-raised guy seemed naive and stereotypical. However, as he spent more time with people of different cultures, he emerged into a very open human being with lots of wit and charm. This made him my favorite cast member of Season 9. *News! Theo can be found on the RR/RW Battle of the Seasons along w/ Holly.*

Kathryn- This Caucasian girl from Oregon grew up on a cherry farm and sets her standards abnormally high. Kathryn recently graduated from Cornell University and plans to enter the business realm. Her hook up with Laterrian caused a lot of drama, especially because she had a serious boyfriend, named Reed, at the time. However, after smoothing things over, Kathryn let her true self show.
