Lion N. K. Krishnamoorthy was the President of Lions Club of J. B. Nagar in year 1981-82. He had held a large variety of club level posts prior to this and after this. He has been the Bulletein Editor for the Club Bulletein for several years.
Lion N. K. Krishnamoorthy was a Zone Chairman of District 323.
He was District Chairman Sports. During this tenure he organized a cricket tournament between Lions and Rotarians for the first time. He organized several inter-Lions tournaments. He also introduced Atheletic Competition for Handicapped.
He was District Chairman for Infrastructure Development During this time he brought out a thought provoking book on Infrastructure.
He was also District Chairman of Recreation
He has organized intercollege Drama Competitions in Mumbai and Chennai.
