Another Discovery from Our Past

please DO NOT feel free to plagerize my work
[not that anyone would cuz this isn't some master piece or anything..but still..anyway...here u go]

Through the dry, crumpled earth, the sun's rays reflected off a shiny object. At four in the afternoon, I was about to end the search in disappointment for no one had discovered anything for the past week, until now that is. After what seemed to be hours of careful digging, I finally stood, holding the most recent discovery in the palm of my hand. In the center of this flat, circular object was a round hole with a diameter of about 1.5 cm. One side of this "disk" had light blue and silvery-colored writings printing on it: "millennium," "backstreet boys," and the year "1999." On the other side of this 12 cm in diameter object appeared a smooth surface with the same silvery color as the first side; I could see my sweaty reflection in it as well. Although not feathery light, this object was not heavy at all. Maybe the neanderthalensis used it as a paperweight, or perhaps it was a throwing toy, what they called "frisbee." Another possibility is that it could have been used as a decoration or an ornament - either by stringing or by hanging. It did seem odd that the edge was somewhat sharp if the only purpose was for decoration, so maybe it was some kind of cutting tool, or an instrument used to draw circles with. The reflection part could easily have been used as a mirror; perhaps it was the newest fashion - rounded mirrors with writing printed on the back. Maybe it was used in spying. Someone could look through the thole in the middle and see what was happening on the other side. With all of these possibilities, it became impossible to guess the usage of this strange object 3000 years ago. Was it part of some complicated machine used in spying, or was it just a child's toy? Hopefully, further discoveries will be able to answer this question.
