Nancy Green Program

Nancy Green won Gold and Silver medals at the 1968 Olympics.  Subsequently, Alpine Canada created the Nancy Green Ski League for young athletes between the ages of five and eight.   These programs teach young athletes skiing skills and skiing safety.  The goal of this program is to have fun and while simultaneously having fun.   This program consists of four-hour classes on Saturdays and Sundays.  This program begins December 8 and we are devising a skill award program with our clubs so they are recognized for their efforts.

Juvenile Program

The Juvenile program is for athletes between the ages of twelve and fifteen.  This program is very demanding on the athletes because they must undergo dryland and ski training as well as excel academically.   We have a very busy schedule so we focus on time management early in the season so the athletes are prepared in the peak season.  The goals of these athletes is to prepare for the Ontario Juvenile Championships.  They participate in INCO Cup Races in Timmins, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie and North Bay in order to qualify for the Ontario Juvenile Championships.
