St. James has many opportunities for lay persons to serve God and their neighbors by participation in the following ministries: |

Choir |
We sing at the 10 AM service every Sunday, as well as on special feast days. If you can't join us every week, come for one of the special services. |
Chalice Bearers and Lay Readers |
Two of the important ways lay persons participate in the Eucharist by giving out the wine at communion and reading the bible lessons. |
Acolytes |
An opportunity for young people as well as adults to participate. |
Ushers |
Welcome visitors to our worship service. |
Outreach |

Meals |
Help others by preparing meals to be taken to the needy. |
Shepherds |

Spreads the word of God through putting on skits. |

Help spread the word of God to our young people by becoming a Sunday School teacher. |

Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament (James Lloyd Breck Ward) |
The Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament is a group whose members share a devotion to the Blessed Sacrament of our Lord Jesus. Its principal ministry is support of the parish through intercessory prayer. |
Women of St. James |
Many activities to help the parish and for fellowship. Meets every month. |
Men of St. James |
Sponsors activities for fund raising and just for fun such as our annual trip to the Phillies and the Mother's Day breakfast. |
Bible Study |
Meets every Tuesday at 7:45 PM. |
Representatives to Diocesan and Deanery organizations |
These include the yearly diocesan convention and quartely deanery meetings. |
